- The Chamber can put you in touch with other members who could become new clients or customers.
- By attending monthly coffees, assisting with Chamber projects, and attending other Chamber functions and meetings, you will become acquainted with fellow Chamber Members and have the opportunity to give back to the community as well.
- Sponsorship opportunities! Improve your business' visibility by sponsoring one or more Chamber events such as the Annual Golf Tournament or Halloween Party.
- Working with the IWCC E-Powerment Initiative you may schedule a one-on-one, business counseling session to assist your business. In addition, the Chamber will help you find other resources to get your business off the ground.
- Chamber Bucks are available by contacting the Chamber. They encourage local shopping, make it easier to give a gift or incentive, and promote spending at Chamber member locations. Chamber Bucks can only be spent at Chamber member businesses.
- Membership in the Chamber is tax deductible as a "necessary business expense", not as a charitable contribution.
- Members may use the Chamber of Commerce logo on their website or in print free of charge.
- Some members offer special discounts to other Chamber members.
- Although anyone is welcome to attend the Chamber meetings, only members are allowed to make motions and vote.
Referrals
- The Chamber receives requests on a regular basis for recommendations on goods or services to be purchased in Fremont County. We refer only Chamber members to these inquiries.
Ribbon Cuttings
- Ribbon Cuttings for a grand opening, anniversary, open house, or other business occasion. Your business and employee's photo in the paper announcing your event.

- The Chamber website features information about the area including upcoming events. There is also a calendar with community Chamber member events listed. Most importantly to you...we feature a membership directory with your business contact information, website, and a photo of your choice.
Brochure Display / Advertising Opportunities
- The Chamber displays at various businesses in Fremont County have space available for your brochure, flyer and/or business cards. Only member businesses may display their items for the general public to pick up. Your information is also sent out with informational packets requested through phone calls, mail and our website.
- Each year the Chamber produces a Community Calendar. Only Chamber members have the opportunity to advertise on the calendar.
- Send an email notification of your special event to the Chamber and the Chamber will forward it to our member email list.
Communications
- Receive email communications from the Chamber on issues impacting your business.
- Receive email communications on Chamber and Chamber member events.
- Red Alert Program: Emails to alert businesses of scams (shoplifting, bad checks, deceptive advertising) taking place in the community.
- The Chamber should be your first call for information. Whatever your question, you will find if the Chamber does not know the answer, we will try to put you in touch with those who do.
Economic Development
- We associate with other Chamber and Economic Development professionals, locally, regionally, and at state and national level.
- Current Chamber Board members are also members of other Chamber and Economic Development organizations such as FREDCO, SWICO, SWIPCO, Western Iowa Tourism, Tri-State Economic Development and more.
